In 1950, Landry Harris &Co. started out as a one man operation in Crowley, Louisiana. Our founder, Bennett Landry, was a postal worker walking his daily route and getting constant questions concerning where to get auto insurance. He saw an opportunity to help his customers by offering auto insurance door to door… And so began the Landry Agency. Bennett was later joined by his son, Mark Landry, in 1977 and then by Frankie Harris in 1982. Mark & Frankie brought with them a vision to make the agency more than just your average regional personal lines insurance agency. The relationship that began while attending LSU in the early seventies has become the cornerstone of the Landry Harris & Co. culture where strong character, integrity, teamwork and growth opportunities for our associates leads to our entire staff taking ownership in our clients relationship and uniqueness.
